Jaguar honors nine decades of autosprint.ch
With the 90th anniversary special edition, F-Pace production is coming to an end.

The 90th Anniversary Edition of the 2025 model year is the final special model of the F-Pace. It is characterized by a unique badge, the R-Dynamic exterior and many special features. These include metallic paintwork, diamond-turned alloy wheels, tinted windows, the panoramic roof and the 3D surround camera.
Inside, sports seats with contrasting stitching, an Ebony headliner and aluminum interior trim create a luxurious ambience. Customers can choose between the S, SE and HSE trim levels with various engines - including mild and plug-in hybrids. The P400e plug-in hybrid offers a purely electric range of up to 64 kilometers and a DC fast-charging function that can charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.

Top athlete SVR
The 575 SVR Edition is the top version of the model series. It celebrates the powerful combustion engine. Its supercharged V8 engine ensures impressive driving performance and a sound to match. The heart of the F-Pace SVR is the 5-liter supercharged engine, which now delivers 575 hp in the SVR 575 Edition version and, with its maximum torque of 700 Nm, makes it possible to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. The Edition features special SVR body parts such as the front bumper, the Black Exterior Pack with radiator grille surround, air outlets on the hood in black and an SVR rear bumper.

90 years of innovation
Behind the F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition is a history that spans nine decades of automotive excellence. The F-Pace has a significant place in this history, as it is the brand's first SUV. Jaguar's pioneering spirit dates back to the 1930s and gained momentum in the 1940s with the development of the XK engine. This was produced for 40 years and formed the basis for success in motorsport. The very first Jaguar was a two-seater roadster with great comfort. The first 240 examples with handcrafted aluminum bodies had the newly developed 3.4-liter inline six-cylinder XK with two overhead camshafts and 160 hp top performance under the hood. With a top speed of 193 km/h, the XK120 was the fastest production car in the world.

Mercedes-AMG becomes a legend

RADICAL CONCEPT STUDY Mercedes-AMG presents the Concept Pure Speed, which borrows from the design language of legendary Mercedes racing cars to give a preview of the first model in the exclusive Mythos series.

Mercedes-AMG becomes a myth autosprint.ch
The starting number 10 on the front fenders of the Pure Speed is a reminder of an important race victory.

The Mercedes-AMG Pure Speed concept study is a highlight in the run-up to the Formula 1 GP in Monaco. The radical design of a two-seater performance car without a roof and windshield is a homage to motor racing. The concept car also provides a preview of the first model in the limited-edition Mercedes Benz Mythos series. The world premiere of the Concept Mercedes-AMG Pure Speed took place in an exclusive setting on the sidelines of the Monaco Grand Prix. The vehicle was unveiled on a floating pontoon in the Principality's harbor - in front of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

With halo
The Concept Mercedes-AMG Pure Speed celebrates the tradition of Mercedes-Benz with uncompromising racing car design and the latest technology. The small series, limited to 250 units, will only be available to the most dedicated enthusiasts and collectors of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

One highlight is the Halo system, which replaces the conventional A-pillar on the vehicle. This element, a direct derivation from the premier class of motorsport, protects the driver's head in the event of an accident. In the Concept Mercedes AMG Pure Speed, it consists of a bracket that is connected to the body of the vehicle, just like in Formula 1. The English word halo means halo in German.

Inspired by Hypercar One
The Concept Mercedes AMG Pure Speed is a performance car with a low silhouette. Many design features are inspired by the Mercedes AMG One hypercar. Typical of the car are the long hood and the very low front end with a pronounced sharknose. The precision work of the design team can be seen in many other aerodynamic parts. The two scoops behind the seats are reminiscent of legendary racing cars such as the 300 SLR, in which Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson won the 1955 Mille Miglia.

Fehr also dominates in Bure

SUZUKI SWISS RACING CUP 2024 Once again, Sandro Fehr from St. Gallen was able to leave the entire competition behind. This means that the defending champion has already won the first four of seven races.

Fehr also dominates in Bure autosprint.ch
Sandro Fehr dominates the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup 2024 with four wins in a row. Exciting races await us in Ambri and Chamblon.

Sandro Fehr seems to be unbeatable. The defending champion from Rorschacherberg also set the clear fastest time in the fourth race of the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup 2024. The 37-year-old from St. Gallen dominated the race, which was held on May 18 as part of the Slalom de Bure, and thus cemented his overall lead in this year's championship. Fehr leads the overall standings after four of seven races with a maximum of 80 points, ahead of Rico Thomann with 62 and Michaël Béring with 60 points.

14 starters
Behind Fehr, the Flammer Speed Team was successful in Bure. Patrick Flammer and Reto Steiner celebrated a joint podium with second and third place. The veteran and overall third Michaël Béring, who finished second in the last race in Bière, narrowly missed out on the podium in Bure and finished fourth. Rico Thomann, who had finished third in each of the first three races, had to make do with fifth place. A total of 14 participants competed in Bure.

Tension remains
The 2024 season of the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup remains exciting - there are still three races to go, with the next two races taking place in Ambri next weekend before the season finale in Chamblon on the weekend of June 22 and 23. The competition is in full swing - despite Sandro Fehr's dominance, the decision on the coveted podium places is still a long way off.

Lamborghini electrifies the V8

The second super sports car in Lamborghini's High Performance Electrified Vehicle range is equipped with a completely newly developed, electrified drivetrain with a supercharged high-revving V8.

Lamborghini electrifies the V8 autosprint.ch
Lamborghini gives the combustion engine an extra runtime with the new biturbo V8.

The successor to the Lamborghini Huracán has a completely newly developed high-performance hybrid drive. A 4-liter V8 with biturbo charging in combination with three electric motors will ensure exceptional driving performance in the super sports car, which is known internally as the 634. The eight gears of the second Lamborghini super sports car in the High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) series are shifted by a dual-clutch gearbox.

High-tech V8 engine
Lamborghini developed the 4-liter V8 biturbo from scratch in Sant'Agata Bolognese. On a blank sheet of paper, a drive system was created that even surpasses the current Huracán models in terms of performance and driving experience. The new V8 Biturbo is designed to combine the linearity of the rev development of the naturally aspirated ten-cylinder engine with the enormous power of a modern turbo engine. The new V8 delivers its peak output of 800 hp between 9000 and 9750 rpm, and the rev limit is an unusually high 10,000 rpm for a production engine.

Three electric motors
With the high-revving concept in combination with two turbochargers and three electric motors, this drive will be unique among road-legal super sports cars. Equally unique is the wide plateau of maximum torque of 730 Nm between 4000 and 7000 rpm. Thanks to the integration of an axial flux motor between the V8 biturbo and the dual-clutch transmission, the torque build-up is just as impressive as with a racing engine. The newly developed drivetrain also includes two additional electric motors on the front axle.

Still this year
The launch of the new Lamborghini 634 is planned for this year. The Huracán successor will then represent a further milestone in the Direzione Cor Tauri. This program defines Lamborghini's path towards the electrification of the entire model range. The project began in 2023 with the world premiere of the Revuelto and continued with the presentation of the Urus SE in April 2024.

BMW M Hybrid V8 as a work of art

WORLD PREMIERE The BMW M Hybrid V8 racing car by artist Julie Mehretu was presented as the 20th BMW Art Car at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The enormously performative work of art will compete in the 24-hour race at Le Mans in mid-June.

The BMW M Hybrid V8 spruced up by Julie Mehretu brings new colors to Le Mans.

The 20th BMW Art Car was presented to the public for the first time at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The vehicle, designed by New York painter Julie Mehretu, is the BMW M Hybrid V8 endurance prototype, which now continues a long racing tradition of the BMW Art Car Collection. Just a few weeks after its world premiere in Paris, it will be competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. "My Art Car was created in close collaboration with motorsport and engineering teams, and it will only be finished when the race at Le Mans is over," said Julie Mehretu. The collaboration between BMW and Julie Mehretu also includes a joint commitment to the Pan African Translocal Media Workshops for filmmakers, which will take place in various African cities in 2025 and 2026.

Technology and art
Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, commented: "The BMW Art Cars are an essential part of our global cultural commitment. For almost 50 years, we have been cooperating with artists who are just as fascinated by mobility and design as they are by technology and motorsport. Julie Mehretu's art on a racing car is a strong contribution to our BMW Art Cars series." Space, movement and energy have always been central motifs in Mehretu's work. For the design of the 20th BMW Art Car, she transferred a two-dimensional image motif into a three-dimensional representation for the first time, with which she succeeded in bringing dynamism into form.

The BMW M Hybrid V8
The new BMW M Hybrid V8 model for endurance racing has a hybrid drive system with around 640 hp, whose 4-liter V8 engine is supported by an electric motor. This enables the 4.99 meter long, 1.20 meter high and only 1030 kilogram prototype to reach a top speed of up to 345 km/h, depending on the race track layout. The fusion of image and vehicle was realized with the help of 3D mapping, with which the motif was transferred to the contours of the vehicle, as well as elaborate foiling, which makes it possible to use the car at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. BMW works drivers Sheldon van der Linde, Robin Frijns and René Rast will enter the Art Car with starting number 20 at the Circuit de la Sarthe on June 15.

A matter of luck
Interested parties can visit a Swiss Porsche Center to find out more and express their interest in purchasing the vehicle. Porsche Schweiz AG will draw lots at random on November 9 at "Auto Zürich" to determine who will be awarded the one-off car.
