On the gently sloping route towards Basel and at a constant 130 km/h in France, consumption remains below 18 kWh per 100 km, which enables a range of 500 km. The first charging stop takes place after 460 km in Haudiomont.

Short loading times, long pauses

After five and a half hours of driving, a break is necessary. The Taycan is connected to the charging station and charged to 80 % within 18 minutes, reaching 95 % after a further 10 minutes. The charging times are so short that drivers hardly have to wait for the car.

Across the Channel to London

After another charging stop and the drive through the Eurotunnel, the Taycan drives in left-hand traffic in England. With an efficiency of 16 kWh per 100 km, the vehicle masters the 115 km from Folkestone to the Exhebition Center London without any problems. This is where the Formula E season finale takes place, a highlight of the electric motorsport world.

Technology from Formula E in everyday life

Efficiency is crucial in Formula E. The racing cars recuperate up to 350 kW via the rear axle and 250 kW via the front axle. This technology can also be found in the Taycan.
