SPECIAL EDITION The new Fiat 500e La Prima by Bocelli is another limited special model. It was created in cooperation between manufacturer Fiat, master tenor Andrea Bocelli, his son Matteo and hi-fi specialist JBL.

The new Fiat 500e La Prima by Bocelli once again represents the spirit of Italian dolce vita. It offers as standard, among other things, seat covers with a soft-touch look, a woven-look trim on the dashboard, a sound composed by Nino Rota as an electronic driving noise and, on the convertible, the soft top with Fiat lettering.

In addition, the 500 is equipped with JBL's Virtual Venues technology, which provides a special sound experience by creating virtual concert spaces. The premium audio system was refined by master tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Cleaning light belongs to the car

The new Fiat model also comes as standard with a light in the glove compartment that emits UV-C light. This can be used to perfectly clean the surface of objects such as smartphones or keys. The cleaning process, which takes about three minutes, is started using a pushbutton switch in the center console.

The Fiat 500e La Prima by Bocelli can be ordered in three body variants: sedan, convertible and 3+1. The paint colors Onyx Black, Rose Gold, Arctic White, Mineral Gray, Ocean Green and Sky Blue are available.

Bugatti: A purchase of a very special kind

BABIES FOR THE FAMILY At Bugatti's headquarters in Molsheim, a special customer took delivery of six Baby IIs in addition to a Chiron Super Sport 300+ and a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse from the World Record Edition.

In the Château Saint-Jean at Bugatti's headquarters, Ettore Bugatti once received his customers to celebrate the delivery of new vehicles. Recently, one of Bugatti's most passionate collectors paid a visit to Molsheim-and left with eight new models: a Chiron Super Sport 300+1, a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse from the World Record Edition certified by La Maison Pur Sang, and six Baby IIs.

The six children of the new owner were flown in from all over the world to feel the spirit of Ettore Bugatti's vision on site.

In his many years as a Bugatti owner, a personal connection has developed between this particular customer and Bugatti Pilote Officiel Andy Wallace. Therefore, the team had arranged a special moment of meeting with Andy. Among the eight models lined up at the foot of the steps leading up to the legendary Chateau was the Chiron Super Sport 300+ hidden under a silk cover.

Under the pretext of trying out a new voice-controlled starting technology, the vehicle was seemingly brought to life by the voice commands. In reality, it was Andy sitting in the car and pressing the start button for the 8.0-liter W16 engine. At the same time, the cover was pulled down and the secret revealed.

In this 2019 Chiron Super Sport 300+, Andy Wallace broke the production car record at 300 miles per hour with a top speed of 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h).

Torque and pulling power
At the heart of the new model is the engine, a liquid-cooled 60° V-twin that features a flat torque curve across the entire rev range. This ensures optimum acceleration and plenty of pulling power in the mid-range. With its displacement of 975 cc, the Revolution Max 975T delivers a maximum of 95 Nm at 5000 rpm and 90 hp at 7500 rpm.

Thanks to the centrally placed footrest system and the flat handlebars, the rider enjoys a sporty yet relaxed seating position.

The rear frame is made of light alloy, and the rear shocks with adjustable spring preload are directly linked to the swingarm made of welded square tubes.

Acceleration and deceleration
The Nightster is equipped with Rider Safety Enhancement Systems, a technology package that matches the motorcycle's acceleration and deceleration forces to tire grip.

The systems used for this purpose are based on the latest chassis, braking and traction control technology with ABS, TCS traction control and DSCS drag torque control as well as three freely selectable driving programs that specify the intensity of the electronic interventions.

From May 2022, the first examples of the Nightster will arrive at authorized Harley-Davidson dealers and will be offered at prices starting at 15,700 Swiss francs.

Smart: First data and photos of the SUV #1 🎥

BIG DEAL The surprise was perfect when Smart presented the study of an electric SUV at the IAA Munich. The #1 is the first product of a new era, a fun electric SUV with key data to be taken seriously.

 

However, the Concept #1 was not intended to be a show car, but the harbinger of a completely new Smart - and the series version is already in the starting blocks today. However, it will still be March 2023 before the electric SUV is launched on the market.

The end product, however, looks well thought out, solid and serious: the #1 is a vehicle designed from the ground up as an electric car, surprisingly well equipped and with a generous engine.

For Switzerland with two motors
An electric motor with 200 kW (272 hp) drives the rear wheels, a battery with 66 kWh capacity provides a range of 420 to 440 kilometers, charging takes place with up to 150 kW, which makes a full charge possible in 30 minutes. In Switzerland, it goes one better: The #1 rolls up to us with two motors and all-wheel drive.

Amazing space inside
The Smart also packs a punch when it comes to equipment: The cockpit is fully digital with a 9.2-inch instrument cluster, 10-inch head-up display and 12.8-inch touchscreen. LED headlights with adaptive high beam, a highway and traffic jam assistant with adaptive cruise control and other features ensure safety.

The space inside is surprisingly good, the rear seat can not only be folded down in a 60:40 ratio, but can also be moved lengthways - another feature that cannot be taken for granted in this segment.

Cupra: Formentor VZ5 in action at the DTM

AT THE START TOGETHER The sporty Seat subsidiary Cupra will provide the Safety Car, the Leading Car, the Medical Car and two Race Control vehicles at the DTM. The Spanish company is the Official Car Partner of the popular series.

A special version of the Cupra Formentor VZ5 with an upgrade from Abt Sportsline GmbH is used for this purpose. As a result, these vehicles produce 450 hp, while maximum torque increases by 50 Nm to 530 Nm. Thus, the Spaniard accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 270 km/h.

Racing is part of the Cupra DNA

Racing is part of the Cupra DNA. KW: New coilovers for BMW 🎥

The KW-V3 coilover suspension has become the best-selling application of the suspension manufacturer KW Automotive. In all KW suspensions from the Street Performance product category, the basic damper setup is always designed to be as firm as necessary and as comfortable as possible. This is preset specifically for the vehicle during production.

In the case of the popular KW V3, there is also the fact that it is built by KW with an elaborate multi-valve technology. If desired, this suspension can be manually adjusted independently in the Lowspeed compression stage with twelve clicks and in the Lowspeed rebound stage with 16 clicks.

Lowering ranges for M3 and M4
