Alfa Romeo: Paint design from the Centro Stile 🎥

SLIM AND AGGRESSIVE The new Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake is a contender for the title of the most beautiful car in the 2023 F1 World Championship, and the team unveiled the C43 at a presentation held simultaneously in Zurich and Hinwil.

Drivers for the Alfa Romeo Sauber Team Stake are, as last season, the Finn Valtteri Bottas and the Chinese Zhou Guanyu. Frenchman Théo Pourchaire is available as a reserve driver. The unveiling of the new C43 was accompanied by pictures and videos of the car's creation process. The video symbolizes the way team members become one unit to ensure the success of Alfa Romeo's Formula One team. The paint design was created by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo.

Only a contender for the beauty prize? With the new Ferrari engine, the Alfa Romeo C43 should also have become faster.

A new engine from Ferrari

The engineering team led by Technical Director Jan Monchaux has implemented the changes specified by the regulations for the 2023 season. The C43 therefore features both technical updates and completely new components. Overall, the race car is still at the beginning of its development. The team will exploit the potential for improvement over the course of the season.

First tests soon in Barcelona

The next dates for the new race car of the F1 team Stake are a functional test this week on the Formula 1 race track in Barcelona and the official F1 winter test in Bahrain from February 23 to 25. The C43 will celebrate another world premiere in the racing simulation - on the eve of the Bahrain test, EA Sports will present the racing car in the new version of the official Formula 1 video game.

Presentation as a home game

Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Managing Director Sauber Group and Team Representative, says: "Bringing a Formula One car to life is a long process that involves all departments of a team. We decided to present the car in front of our fans close to home, because the unveiling of a new race car is not just a moment to set out your goals for the coming season. At the same time, we can give something back to the people who have supported us."

Claudia Meyer, Managing Director Renault Suisse SA: "We are pleased to support Swiss Post on its way to becoming a CO2-free delivery. We would like to thank them for their many years of cooperation and the opportunity to accompany Swiss Post in its transition to e-mobility."

By purchasing electric commercial vehicles, Swiss Post aims to convert its entire delivery fleet to electric drive by 2030.

Johannes Cramer, Head of Logistics Services at Swiss Post: "As a company owned by the federal government, Swiss Post always has a role model function. By converting our vehicle fleet to electric drive, we are not only reducing CO2-emissions of our business, but also ensure more sustainable transportation in cities."

Battery repair and recycling

The Renault Group has its own battery repair center in Switzerland, where individual cells or modules are replaced or fuses are exchanged. Renault also focuses on the circular economy in production, Second Life and the recycling of vehicles and batteries. Used vehicles are reconditioned by Renault at the Re-Factory in Flins, France, and Seville, Spain, for extended use. When battery recycling is due, it is done partly in Switzerland and partly in France.

Rally Monte Carlo: Swiss classic car at the top 🎥

FINALLY A COMEBACK With a Lancia Fulvia Coupé, a Swiss team won the Rally Monte-Carlo Historique, an event in the footsteps of the famous role model - 51 years after the victory of the Italians Munari and Mannucci.

In January 1972, the Italian factory team Sandro Munari and Mario Mannucci won the Rally Monte-Carlo with a Lancia Fulvia Coupé. Now a Lancia Fulvia Coupé won the Rally Monte-Carlo Historique. The Swiss team of Claudio Enz and Cristina Seeberger collected the fewest penalty points on the 16 regularity stages in a Lancia Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.3 S from 1970. The duo from Team Kessel prevailed against some 300 competitors, including almost 30 Lancia brand colleagues.

The winning team with Claudio Enz and Cristina Seeberger collected the fewest penalty points.

From very elegant to quite aggressive

Successor models of the Fulvia Coupé on the rally tracks were the Stratos, the 037 Rally and the Delta. A total of 15 titles went to Lancia in the World Rally Championship in both brand and drivers' championships. The Fulvia Coupé model is one of the icons in the brand's history. While the production version presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1965 was an elegant and comfortable vehicle, the rally variant had a more aggressive look.

The Fulvia Coupé made its debut in rally racing in 1965 at the Tour de Corse in Corsica. In 1966, Lancia presented the first model with the name suffix HF. The abbreviation stands for High Fidelity and expresses the motto of the brand club at the time, to which only the most loyal customers were admitted.

Victory in Monte Carlo the highlight

The Lancia Fulvia Coupé 1.2 HF was followed in 1967 by the Fulvia Coupe 1.3 HF model, before in 1968 the highest-displacement 1.6 HF variant delighted sporty drivers on the road as much as rally drivers. Victory in the Monte Carlo Rally in 1972 by Munari and Mannucci was ultimately the sporting highlight for this model.

Lamborghini: V12 addition from Sant'Agata for two one-offs 🎥

COUPE AND ROADSTER Lamborghini presents the two models Invencible and Auténtica to celebrate the end of the V12 supercar era and usher in the hybrid age. A new model of the future will follow soon.

A few weeks before the launch of the first hybrid super sports car, Lamborghini celebrates its famous naturally aspirated V12 engine with the Coupé Invencible and the Roadster Auténtica. These are two unique cars with the DNA of this brand. Customers have been involved in the design process from the very beginning in order to obtain truly tailor-made models.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini: "The V12 engine is one of the main pillars of our history and the success of the brand. We are now on the road to a new era of hybridization."

Lamborghini Invencible Auténtica
The last Lamborghinis with 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering 720 Nm and 780 hp.

Maximum creativity was the goal

The two unique models, Invencible and Auténtica, were designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile based on the V12 platform as the quintessence of supreme creativity. In doing so, they reflect the design features that have contributed to the company's iconic status. They pay tribute to the masterpieces of Lamborghini design: the Sesto Elemento, the Reventón and the Veneno.

Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Lamborghini: "We have created two one-offs with unique character, inspired by motorsport and the high-energy atmosphere of a trackday. Both cars are built on the carbon monocoque of the Aventador produced in Sant'Agata Bolognese. In addition, they also feature a full carbon body."

Minimalist dashboard

The interior is characterized by clean lines. The minimalist dashboard is accented by hexagonal, 3D-printed air vents. The console comes without instruments to emphasize the lightness of the interior, and the cockpit itself is set in carbon fiber.

The body of the Coupé Invencible in Rosso Efesto is complemented by sills and door frames in carbon and brake calipers in Rosso Mars. The classic scissor doors feature two striking hexagonal tricolor elements.

The Roadster Auténtica comes in Grigio Titans - with details in matte black and a color scheme in Giallo Auge. This color is also found on the brake calipers and the most important aerodynamic elements.
