Porsche: Have a good trip with the best entertainment

The aim of the joint project is to immerse a car's passengers in virtual worlds of entertainment. To do this, special glasses are coupled with sensors in the vehicle so that their content can be adapted in real time to the car's movements.
For example, if the car drives around a curve, the direction of flight of the space shuttle in which you are virtually located also changes. This should reduce symptoms of travel sickness.
Movies or even virtual conferences
In the future, the system will also be able to evaluate navigation data and thus, among other things, adapt the length of a game to the calculated driving time. In addition, the technology can be used to integrate other entertainment offerings such as movies or virtual conferences for productivity in the front passenger seat.
Elastic Content through Holoride Software
Holoride software makes possible the offering of Elastic Content: a new form of media specifically designed for use in vehicles. The content adapts to driving time, movement and context. The start-up's business model follows an open platform approach, so that other car manufacturers and content producers can also benefit from this technology.
Within the next three years, Holoride plans to launch the new form of entertainment using commercially available glasses for passengers in the back seat. Porsche will show Holoride at the IAA in Frankfurt (September 12-22).
