Pirelli is now cooperating with Driving Center Schweiz AG, which belongs to the Emil Frey Group. As an official tire partner, the company equips all passenger cars, SUVs and vans at the three road safety centers in Safenwil, Sennwald and Regensdorf with summer and winter tires.
Trainings and driving events
In addition to tire equipment, Pirelli is available to the centers for other needs such as training. To visually highlight the cooperation, Pirelli equips the centers with material and provides product and training materials for the participants of the driving and information events.
The event kicked off with a winter training session at the Regensdorf anti-skid school. Around 300 dealers had the opportunity to talk to the Pirelli Switzerland team in person again after a long Corona break. The tire manufacturer presented its winter tire portfolio, with the launch of the Cinturato Winter 2 taking center stage.
Iginio Cangero, Commercial Director Swiss Market Pirelli: "The meeting was great fun for all of us and reinforced our conviction that face-to-face meetings cannot be replaced by modern technologies."
Road safety and environmentally friendly driving
With their wide range of offers, the road safety centers of Driving Center Schweiz AG have been making an important contribution to increasing road safety and environmentally friendly driving for decades.
Pirelli will now regularly inform the instructors at the driving safety centers about new developments in tire technology and the product range. They will use this knowledge to communicate the importance of tires for safety and environmental compatibility to the approximately 15,000 participants in their courses each year.
