Motofestival: Motorcycle awards and a perfect start

PREMIERES More than 40,000 Swiss people visited the biker show motofestival in Bern and almost 3,000 cast their vote for the Töff Awards of TÖFF magazine, Motor Sport Schweiz and moto.ch.

Motofestival Motorcycle Awards
The award ceremony took place at the motofestival in Ittigen. The event was hosted by Michel Schelker, Radio Energy Bern presenter, comedian, content creator and - of course - passionate motorcyclist.

Once again it was shown that Switzerland is a country of friends of the fun of life on two wheels. The new motorcycle event motofestival celebrated its successful premiere after a year's delay due to the pandemic and presented itself as a perfect start to the 2023 season. The organizer BERNEXPO counted over 40,000 admissions during the four days of the event.

Dominique Aegerter Motor Sportsman of the Year

Töff-Awards is the new name of the readers' choice format that TÖFF magazine, Motor Sport Schweiz and moto.ch have been conducting in Switzerland for a quarter of a century. The familiar categories have been clearly grouped together. Newly included are accessories, clothing and lubricants. The result of the vote was eagerly awaited "Motorsportsman of the year" expected. A clear majority of users voted for Dominique Aegerter. Exactly 2675 motorcyclists took part in the survey, which was conducted exclusively online for the first time. The election will also be held next year.
