Nowadays, new cars (depending on their configuration) come to their owners from the factory with a state-of-the-art, fat-sounding and now extensively equipped multimedia system. But there are still many older vehicles with outdated or non-existent multimedia systems. However, their owners have the option of retrofitting.
For example, with the JVC KW-V235DBT-ANT, which has a special user interface for controlling the Spotify app on a connected smartphone. "Spotify" can be selected as a standalone source in the menu here, and the connection can be made via Bluetooth or USB, depending on the smartphone's operating system. To turn the smartphone into a comprehensive remote control for the moniceiver, there is the new JVC Remote Control app for Android and iOS. This allows the KW-V235DBT-ANT to be conveniently operated via Bluetooth with the smartphone and, in addition to source selection, also allows stations to be switched and the volume to be adjusted. This way, friends and family members can also join in on the musical entertainment.
In addition to the obligatory FM tuner, the digital radio receiver ensures radio reception in the best sound quality. The "Seamless Blending" function ensures that the automatic switchover between FM and digital radio takes place without a time offset. Optimal playback quality is ensured by the 4 x 50 watt MOS-FET power amplifier, sound optimizations, active high-pass and low-pass filters, and a 13-band graphic equalizer. This allows the discerning music fan to adapt the sound in the car to his personal taste and precisely tune it to his vehicle. The recommended retail price is 569 Swiss francs.
