The latest accolade extends the list of awards for the Merseyside plant to 13 since 2011. One of Jaguar Land Rover's three UK plants, Halewood is now in its 53rd year as a vehicle production facility and has undergone a profound transformation since taking over the manufacture of the Range Rover Evoque. Since then, production and employee numbers have tripled. Jaguar Land Rover has invested more than 790 million Swiss francs in the introduction of new models, including the Land Rover Discovery Sport and most recently the Evoque Convertible.
