While well-known companies, such as Coop and Axpo, are currently pushing ahead with the development of the public hydrogen filling station network with the industry expert H2 Energy AG, the first pioneers have already made up their minds. One of them is Hans Jörg Häfliger. He was the first private customer to take delivery of his ix35 Fuel Cell at Garage Marti, Niedergösgen, last week.
Asked about refueling, Hans Jörg Häfliger says: "Since I live in Zurich and can refuel in Dübendorf, I already have a considerable range. I've now driven the first few kilometers and am gaining experience so that I can also use the ix35 Fuel Cell for my trips to the mountains or on vacation to Innsbruck." The Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell is officially available in Switzerland, either at a price starting at 66,990 Swiss francs or on lease.
