Geneva 2016: VW Caddy with natural gas drive and DSG technology

Range king on Lake Geneva: The Caddy TGI BlueMotion, the family car and city delivery van powered by CNG or bio natural gas, can now be ordered for the first time with the DSG dual-clutch gearbox in addition to the manual transmission. Both the panel van and the short-wheelbase passenger car versions are available as Maxi models.
With a combined natural gas consumption of 4.1 kilograms per 100 kilometers, or 4.3 kilograms for the Maxi, the Caddy driver can achieve a calculated range of around 630 kilometers, or 860 kilometers for the Caddy Maxi, in gas-only mode. The Caddy's cargo space of up to 3200 liters, or 4130 liters in the Caddy Maxi, can be used unchanged. There is also a gasoline tank with a capacity of 13 liters.
Family" equipment variant available from 23,860 Swiss francs
The fourth-generation Caddy TGI with manual transmission has been available to order since mid-2015. The new Caddy TGI with DSG will go on sale for the first time at the beginning of June 2016. The Caddy TGI is available as a city van/van with short wheelbase and six-speed manual transmission from 21,660 Swiss francs excl. VAT; with six-speed DSG, the short van costs from 24,320 Swiss francs excl. VAT. As a car in the "Family" equipment variant with six-speed manual gearbox, the Caddy TGI is available from 23,860 Swiss francs; as a car in the "Trendline" equipment variant with six-speed DSG from 28,080 Swiss francs. Sales start in June.
