Geneva 2016: Opel shows the Coupé GT Concept

Opel is celebrating the world premiere of the GT Concept at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3 to 13, 2016 at Palexpo). The red front tire of the GT Concept pays homage to the then futuristic Opel motorcycle Motoclub 500, which rolled on red tires in 1928. And the two tailpipes with the GT logo in their center allude to the Experimental GT.

A special innovation on the Opel GT Concept are the large doors with integrated side windows that show a seamless transition between the glass and painted surfaces. After touching a touch surface in the red signature line in the roof, the driver and front passenger step through the electrically wide-opening doors into the unexpectedly spacious interior.
