Urs Wernli, Central President of the Swiss Automobile Industry Association (AGVS): "Our members are facing tough challenges on various fronts, both economically and politically. It is our task as a professional and industry association to show our members prospects for a successful future as entrepreneurs." For this reason, we have chosen 'The garage owner - entrepreneur with a future' as the theme of the conference." Christoph Blocher, Jean-Marc Probst, President of Handel Schweiz, Ulrich Giezendanner, Jean-François Rime, Zurich FDP National Councillor Doris Fiala and Dr. Thomas Schiller, Head of the Automotive Industry at leading international consulting firm Deloitte, have already confirmed their participation as speakers and panelists.

In addition, the conference traditionally also looks to the future. Professor Willi Diez will explain which drive systems will prevail in the future. Two Swiss Formula Student teams will be present with their racing cars, including the vehicle from ETH Zurich, which has set a new world acceleration record for electric vehicles (AutoSprintCH reported). The Formula E world champion, Sébastien Buemi from Vaud, will also be available for personal discussions.
