Under power
These include the Ioniq electric, the Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid and the hydrogen-powered ix35 Fuel Cell. The latter is also part of the special "Hydrogen Mobility" show in Hall 5. Test drives can be reserved in Hall 5, Stand N02, or at the Hyundai stand, in Hall 2.
i30 Fastback
Following the five-door hatchback and the station wagon, Hyundai is now presenting a hatchback version of the brand's popular and best-selling model in Europe. Compared with the compact five-door model, the height has been reduced by three centimeters to just under 1.43 meters, while the length has increased by an impressive 11.5 centimeters to around 4.46 meters. At the same time, the body was lowered by five millimeters. Two direct-injection gasoline engines will be available: A three-cylinder turbo unit with 88 kW/120 hp and an equally turbocharged four-cylinder with 103 kW/140 hp output.
i30N
Just a few weeks after its world premiere at the IAA in Frankfurt, Hyundai is presenting the first vehicle with the N sports label to visitors to the Auto Zürich Car Show 2017. The 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine delivers up to 202 kW/275 hp to the front wheels. The i30 N "Entry" with Performance Package (including limited-slip differential) is available from 36ʼ990 Swiss francs. The i30 N with the "Exclusive Pack" is on offer for 41,900 francs.
Sales launch for the Kona
The 2017 Auto Zürich Car Show also marks the start of sales of the compact SUV at Hyundai in Switzerland - and the entry into a new segment. As a true SUV - with all-wheel drive as an option - the Kona meets the needs of a clientele that likes the urban lifestyle but also appreciates the advantages of an SUV model. The 1.0-liter T-GDi with 88 kW/120 hp and six-speed manual transmission enables consumption of 5.2 l per 100 km (factory specification) in the mixed driving cycle. The more powerful 1.6 liter T-GDi with 130 kW/177 hp is coupled with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) and all-wheel drive as standard in Switzerland.
