Rising user numbers on the Internet and by far the widest reach in the Swiss automotive industry: following further development in the content area in recent years, the AGVS is now also reorganizing the marketing of its media. In recent years, the AGVS has invested in its own media with the aim of sustainably strengthening communication with around 11,000 garages and workshops, 4,000 of which are AGVS members, as well as with the public. The result of this offensive is that both the association magazine Autoinside and the AGVS websites are leading with 21 section pages.
Connection between editing, publishing and marketing
As part of the succession plan for advertising salesman Günther Kneisel, who retired at the end of 2016, the AGVS is reorganizing the marketing of its media: The future marketing organization is to be more broadly based. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the current situation in the advertising market, a roadshow with the largest advertisers and the examination of several organizational models, the AGVS has opted for its long-standing partner Viva AG für Kommunikation. AGVS Central President Urs Wernli: "The solution that has now been found guarantees a seamless connection between publishing, editorial and marketing."
