Mercedes-Benz: More power for the GLE series
CAN IT BE A LITTLE MORE? All models in the GLE series are now electrified. Up to 41 hp more power is available. The new generation will be available for inspection at garages from July.

After four years, it is also time for a facelift for the Mercedes-Benz GLE. Starting in July, the models will roll into the dealerships electrified throughout. The mild hybrids have a 48-volt system with integrated starter generator, and almost all variants have more power. The biggest jump is in the GLE 400 e 4-Matic, with 41 hp more than before.
Transparent front camera hood
The Driving Assistance package contains further improved functions. New features include the transparent hood of the front camera and the vehicle route planner. Visually, the model update of the GLE SUV and GLE Coupé is accompanied by, among other things, a redesigned front bumper and refined radiator grille.
Steering wheel now has new sensor surfaces
$With the standard LED high-performance headlights, two light points complement the striking daytime running light signet; with the optional Multibeam LED, there are four. The light graphics at the rear have also been revised.
The steering wheel now has sensor surfaces on the horizontal spokes. The model series also receives the second generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system.
