Miss Auto Zürich: 25-year-old Melanie Pardo from Frauenfeld drives a Renault Clio during her term of office. The new representative works as a draughtswoman.

On the public days, the mix of new cars, tuning cars and components, accessories, care products and services presented in the seven halls of Messe Zürich offered a representative cross-section of the Swiss automotive industry. In addition, a consumer electronics area was integrated for the first time, organized by the new partner of the Auto Zürich Car Show, Euronics. Auto Zürich President Karl Bieri: "It is gratifying that we were once again able to welcome more than 60,000 visitors. The result also shows that our realignment to include consumer electronics was well received. And for good reason, as the areas of mobility and infotainment are growing ever closer together. If semi-autonomous driving creates new freedom for car occupants while driving in the future, a wide range of consumer electronics will be essential. That's why it's already part of automotive mobility today."
