More than 270 riders have registered for the popular hill climb just outside Bern. There are also around 50 historic motorcycles and sidecars, whose owners are not primarily competing for the best times, but for consistency. This year's theme day is dedicated to the Porsche brand. Some of the GT vehicles manufactured in Stuttgart have an astonishing history, will be on display in the starting area and will take part in demonstration drives.
Free magazine about the race on the Internet
The Gurnigel mountain race association has published a magazine for the first time in the run-up to the 47th edition of the race in the picturesque Gantrisch region. If you can't get your hands on the printed version of the magazine free of charge, you can download it from the organizer's homepage. The start list and detailed timetable can also be downloaded there. In the September issue, which will be available to read or take away from many garages and petrol stations from the middle of next week, AutoSprintCH will be publishing a big preview of the penultimate SM round of the season. The new AutoSprintCH will also be available to read on our homepage from Tuesday.
