Top speed of 180 km/h
The BMW iX3 has an output of 210 kW (286 hp), develops 400 Newton meters of torque and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The top speed is limited to 180 km/h. The range is up to 460 kilometers.
Driving experience with artificial sound
A newly developed flexible fast charger is available for the BMW iX3. It includes a charging cable that can be used with the aid of adapters for connection to household and industrial sockets.
When connected to a DC fast charging station, charges of up to 150 kW can be realized. According to BMW, this allows the high-voltage storage unit to be charged from zero to 80 percent of its total capacity within just under 35 minutes. Electricity for up to 100 kilometers can be fed in within ten minutes.
BMW has created an artificial drive sound as acoustic feedback for the driving experience.

Emphasis is placed lower
Externally, the iX3 differs little from the combustion engine variants, but the center of gravity is seven and a half centimeters lower. The front apron and BMW kidney radiator grille are largely closed, as is the underbody, and the design of the rear also helps to reduce drag.
Wheels reduce air resistance
The aerodynamic wheels used for the first time in the new BMW iX3 reduce the drag coefficient by around five percent and, according to the manufacturer, increase the range by around ten kilometers. As with the exterior, the interior also features subtle blue color accents to indicate the electric drive.
