Salon Geneva 2017: Registration deadline is July 15, 2016
The Geneva International Motor Show is preparing for its 87th edition, which will take place at Palexpo from March 9 to 19, 2017. A new concept gives visitors in Hall 7 the choice between participating for the entire duration of the show on an individually designed stand or a shortened presence from March 7 to 13 on a modular stand (AutoSprintCH reported). According to a survey at this year's Motor Show, 20 % of the 690,000 visitors to the show are planning to buy a car this year. 24.3 % intend to buy next year. Around 52 % of visitors are prepared to spend between 20,000 and 50,000 Swiss francs. For 5 %, a new car may even cost over 100,000 Swiss francs.
