Expectations are for 305,000 new enrollments
Andreas Burgener, Director of the importers' association auto-schweiz: "The previous year was naturally above average due to the fall in prices following the discontinuation of the minimum exchange rate for the Swiss franc against the euro. We are now coming down to a still good, but less high level. We think that we will also do better at the end of the current year than in 2014." Back then, 301,942 new cars were put on the road; the forecast of the auto swiss members for this year is 305,000 new registrations.
