DS Automobiles: Two new electric vehicles as of May

The E-Tense model range is DS Automobiles' global vision for the energy transition. As part of the new electrification strategy, all of the brand's models will be available as purely electrically powered or as a high-performance hybrid version. In addition, DS Automobiles will offer custom-fit services for all models.

Important experience in Formula E
With the successes in the FIA Formula E Championship in the background, DS Automobiles celebrates the launch of the E-Tense model range. The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense is the first all-electric premium SUV in the B-segment; the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 4×4 is the first rechargeable gasoline-electric hybrid with 300 hp and features all-wheel drive and an all-electric range of 50 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.

Wide range of services.
DS Automobiles offers a range of services to make life easier for the driver of an electrified E-Tense model. Thanks to the MyDS app, it is possible, among other things, to program recharging for both models via smartphone or to start the charging process remotely. The charging status can also be called up at any time. The driver can also preheat the interior remotely while the vehicle is still connected to the charging station.

Range at a glance at a click
DS Trip Planner guides the driver to the best route, taking into account the remaining range, driving style and charging stations along the way. With the help of the accurate display of the trip duration and charging time, the driver can plan the duration of his trip and start it without worrying about the range.

The market launch of the new models in Switzerland is planned for May 2019.
