More than 170 starters made the season opener of the popular popular sports series a treat for the fans. The pit lane and paddock were already packed on the Friday of training - the joy of the end of the winter break could not be overlooked.

Hofor Racing made a good start to the new season. The Swiss team led by the Kroll family celebrated a double victory in the SP6 class. Martin, Michael and Chantal Kroll were once again supported by Roland Eggimann on their way to success. Even a broken gearshift paddle on the BMW M3 did not hinder the quartet.

Alexandre Imperatori, who is also competing for Team Falken this year, had to settle for 18th place overall. The Swiss driver, who lives in Shanghai, completed a race with the newly developed Porsche 911 GT3 R for the first time. For him and his teammates, the focus was on preparing for the 24-hour race (May 26 - 29).

After four hours and a total of 26 laps, Willy Hüppi saw the chequered flag in second place in the CUP3 class. After competing in an Opel last year, Hüppi is relying on the Porsche Cayman GT4 this year.

The Lexus RC F GT3 entered by Emil Frey Racing did not get to drive in the first race of the year. Testing was limited to the Friday practice session.
