Geneva 2016: Ford presents Fiesta ST with 200 hp

Ten percent more power and an increase in torque of 20 percent: as one of the most attractive offerings in the small sports car segment, the Fiesta ST has enjoyed a loyal fan base since its launch in 2013. In future, the two-door model will be even more dynamic. The carefully revised EcoBoost turbo four-cylinder develops its power from 1.6 liters of displacement, the torque increases from 240 to 290 Newton meters (Nm) - and for a period limited to 20 seconds, an overboost control of the turbo releases a further 15 hp and 30 Nm to the driven front wheels. The new ST200 accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and reaches speeds of up to 230 km/h on the highway.
The fast Cologne will go on sale in June. Its price has not yet been set.
